FORDHAM ATHLETICS PARTNERS WITH POV SPORTS MARKETING FOR MULTIMEDIA RIGHTS ADVISORY


BRONX, N.Y./WAYNE, Pa. – September 13, 2023 –  Fordham Athletics has partnered with POV Sports Marketing in a relationship that began earlier this year to evaluate its multimedia rights opportunity landscape and develop a strategy on how to best maximize the department’s efforts moving forward in the realm of corporate sponsorships.

After extensive analysis of proposals from several nationally recognized third-party rights holders, Fordham Athletics and POV determined that the Rams’ best path forward was to retain sponsorship rights in-house with a group led by Associate Athletic Director for Corporate Sponsorship and Revenue Generation Jason Luksis, who started in August.

“We know there is huge potential for Fordham Athletics and our University,” continued Kull. “Our goal is to have strong connections with our sponsors and develop our sales and service personnel internally to drive loyalty to our program.”

Leading the MMR advisory engagement for POV Sports Marketing was Collegiate Sponsorship & Rights Specialist Jill Axel, who spent 22 years with Drexel Athletics as an administrator for external relations where she oversaw their in-house sponsorship sales team and negotiated outsourced deals involving both a revenue share and a 10-year rights guarantee. President & CEO Molly Arbogast and Director Nicole Rajack, each with previous collegiate sponsorship sales and service experience at Learfield and IMG College respectively, also supported the project.
